Busy day....

Washed windows for a friend this morning for two and a half hours out in the heat....I had sweat running down my legs within half an hour of starting...and that was at 8 AM! While I was there I saved a turtle from their dog....the dog was digging something fierce and then he had something in his mouth...He dropped it and I saw it was a turtle! The turtle's shell was about the size of my open palm. I held him there for a little while and a couple times he would start opening his shell and I could see his little eye..."is it ok to come out now??" I took him down to a nearby creek to be safe from the dog :D
Then I babysat two of the cutest boys....one, about 27 months old, is learning to talk VERY WELL and is now talking up a storm!!! He is adorable because he knows exactly who I am, so he screams ESTHER!!!!!!! as soon as he sees me, and keeps saying my name the whole time I'm there!!! :D He just talks and talks..."tractor! pumpkins!" "outside - sandbox - ants" "do it again!" (after I tickle him). I love those little guys!
Next was Bible Study where we talked about peace - we are going through the fruits of the spirit. It's kind of funny but I don't really think about peace all that much...and I'm not sure why that is... As one guy put it, peace is accepting what is around you rather than striving to change it - and I would add that it is accepting that God has planned exactly the events in your life. Peace is resting in the knowledge that He is in control.
Lastly, I went to a Shakespeare play this evening - a Texan version of "The Merry Wives of Windsor." I got home at 11 or so and typed up some of my thoughts about that - I may put them up tomorrow...we'll see. Right now, I need to get to bed...I've got running to do tomorrow!
